Q: What key moments or decisions led you to start your business or pursue a career in this field?

Aly: I didn’t grow up in a wealthy family, and I saw firsthand the struggles of loved ones working tirelessly just to make ends meet. Those experiences taught me early on the value of financial literacy and the freedom it brings.

In 2018, I began my entrepreneurial journey as a makeup artist, but as time went on, I realized my purpose was greater. God led me to the financial services industry, showing me that this was the path to make a lasting impact and bring glory to His Kingdom. What started as an unexpected shift has now become my calling, and I couldn’t imagine my life any other way.

Q: Describe any early challenges and how you overcame them.

Aly: I’ve faced challenges like self-doubt and the fear of failure, fear tried to hold me back time and time again. But God! Through faith in Jesus, the right mindset, discipline, and a commitment to hard work and strategy, I overcame every obstacle the enemy put in my path. By staying willing to innovate and pivot when needed, I turned those challenges into stepping stones for success.

Aly: I specialize in tax strategy, tax preparation, credit repair, and business funding. My ideal client is someone eager to improve their financial literacy and open to sound, tailored advice to achieve their goals. Typically, I work with working parents, business owners, and students who want to navigate tax season effortlessly while building a solid financial foundation.

Q: What are the core values or mission that drive your business?

Aly: We specialize in providing personalized, accurate, and stress- free tax preparation services for individuals and small businesses. Also, we provide exceptional credit repair, a top of the line business credit tool, business funding and more! We understand that our clients goals are unique, and we’re here to create a strategy that reflects their vision. We are here to ensure that the people have resources they need to succeed!

Q: How do you stay connected with and build trust among your clients?

Aly: I stay connected with my clients through social media and email, building trust by offering honest, practical advice on how to keep more of their hard-earned money and make it work for them. I provide real solutions, not fluff, because financial illiteracy is a struggle for many Americans. It’s my mission to educate and empower others to manage their finances legally, wisely, and in alignment with Godly principles.

Q: Are there any misconceptions about tax preparation that you frequently encounter?

Aly: Many people underestimate the importance of tax preparation or think consulting a professional isn’t necessary and that couldn’t be further from the truth. Unfortunately, thousands of people, often unknowingly, prepare taxes incorrectly or even illegally in an attempt to maximize their refunds. This often happens because they don’t fully understand the tax laws or the logistics behind proper preparation. Others leave money on the table simply because they’re unaware of the deductions and credits they qualify for. Even I discovered, as I deepened my knowledge about taxes, that I had missed out on valuable tax benefits in the past. There’s a misconception that tax professionals are just out to scam people, but in reality, we’re here to help Americans save their hard-earned money and maximize their returns in a way that’s both legal and ethical.

Q: Could you share a client success story or impactful project?

Aly: One of my most rewarding client successes involved a woman who typically owed $4,000 to $5,000 in taxes each year. She was a W-2 employee, a nail tech working from home, and also rented a suite for appointments. She had no idea she qualified for home office and other deductions related to her business. After gathering all the necessary information, I got to work and was able to transform her $4,000 tax liability into a $700 refund. She was ecstatic, and I couldn’t have been prouder of the outcome. Moments like these reinforce my passion for helping clients uncover opportunities to save and maximize their returns.

Q: What accomplishment are you most proud of?

Aly: I have to say that one of my greatest tax achievements was helping one of my nail tech clients, the one I spoke about previously, go from owing $4,000 to receiving a $700 refund. Turning a stressful situation into a positive outcome was very fulfilling for me. Another memorable moment involved a client whose tax return kept getting rejected because of an issue with her child’s name. For a week straight, I called the IRS with her on the line until we finally connected with someone who identified the problem. She was understandably stressed, but I was determined to find a solution. Once the issue was resolved, her return was approved, and she was overjoyed. Moments like these remind me why I’m so passionate about what I do, helping my clients find clarity and peace of mind in even the most challenging situations.

Q: Any advice for someone just starting in the tax industry?

Aly: Talk about it your business even if you aren’t getting a lot of likes or comments on your posts because people are indeed watching. You have to constantly talk about your business and step outside your comfort zone. Set a referral program and make sure that you get the best training possible with SmartWiz Academy! Also, make sure to join FB groups online, post on all platforms, make reels, regular posts, go live, do it all! Utilize Canva for posts and find you a good mentor! If you need mentorship, contact me! Also, make sure you check out Myron Golden as well! He is so amazing at breaking things down. Also, if you’re religious, if you’re a believer in Christ then you should definitely dive into The Bible. Q: What are your goals for the next year?

Aly: I plan to grow my team, I’ll be looking for more PTIN holders and financial brokers to take under my wing. Also, to help expand the Abundant Amos Financial Strategies movement to assist families and businesses! The goal is help communities to become financially secure and most importantly financially literate.
