Design Updates

  • Welcome Message Correction: We fixed a typo in the welcome message that previously misspelled “always.”
  • Tax Organizer UI Overhaul: We've made major improvements to error handling views and the overall user interface, making it easier to navigate and use.

User Interface Improvements

  • Sidebar Navigation: The sidebar now stays visible even after submitting your organizer, making navigation smoother.
  • Dependent Relationships Dropdown: You can now select dependent relationships (like Spouse, Parent, or Child) from a dropdown menu.
  • Badge Placement: The document count badge has been moved next to the 'Documents' label for better visibility.
  • Scroll Behavior: When you click the 'Next' button, the page now scrolls to the top automatically, helping you stay oriented.
  • Clickable Cards for Checkboxes: You can now click on a card to automatically check its associated checkbox, making selections faster.

Bug Fixes

  • SSN Formatting: Social Security Numbers (SSNs) are now correctly formatted as XXX-XX-XXXX.
  • 404 Error Fix: We resolved an issue where clicking on the 'Identity Vault' button would lead to a 404 error page.
  • Document Visibility: Fixed a bug that was preventing some users from seeing documents they had successfully uploaded.
  • W-2 Form Upload Fix: We corrected language and styling issues in the W-2 form upload prompts for better clarity.
  • Error Message Clarity: Unclear error messages during form completions have been resolved.
  • Success Message Error: Fixed an issue where an error message appeared after successfully uploading a document.

New Features

  • Smart Sync Functionality: You can now copy forms directly to your clipboard for easy transfer to our Chrome extension.
  • Account Number Confirmation: A new field has been added to confirm banking account numbers, helping to ensure accuracy.
  • Enhanced Error Handling: We've implemented new error handling processes to better manage various user errors.

Performance Enhancements

  • Lazy Loading & React Query: We've optimized the app with lazy loading and React Query, resulting in faster loading times and better responsiveness.
  • Feature Flagging: We introduced feature flags to hide unused tabs, creating a more focused user experience.

Other Fixes

  • SSN Input Limit: The system now restricts Social Security Number input to a maximum of 9 digits, ensuring proper validation.
  • OCR Document Processing: We fixed an issue with ID document uploads, allowing for proper Optical Character Recognition (OCR) processing.
