We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Account Executive to land and expand net-new logos, as well as support and drive the success of our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing new customers from discovery to close, while also helping customers grow their tax businesses by providing personalized strategies and services that drive results. You will lead client onboarding, provide ongoing growth services, and serve as the main point of contact to ensure customer satisfaction and success. This is a dynamic role suited for someone who excels in building relationships and is passionate about helping businesses thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of your territory with the goal to surpass individual sales quotas by heavily focusing on landing net-new logos through building a book of business, leading demos, overcoming objections, and closing deals.
  • Proactively identify and nurture a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Offer personalized tips and strategies to help tax professionals grow their businesses. Act as a trusted advisor and coach, focusing on long-term growth and success.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with customers to track progress, address concerns, and help them achieve their business goals.
  • Develop and refine a seamless onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and setup with our platform.
  • Oversee and manage our marketplace to create new opportunities for customers to access growth tools and services.
  • Host live calls with our user group twice a week to provide support, share best practices, and answer questions, fostering a sense of community.
  • Provide customers with additional services such as website reviews, new service recommendations, and marketing assistance to enhance their businesses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to communicate customer insights and feedback, continuously improving our offerings to better serve our clients.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in software sales experience with a fast-paced startup, preferred.
  • History as a top performer.
  • Ability to handle complex software platforms, with a history of personally demoing software platforms firsthand.
  • Comfort in negotiating and closing agreements and supporting new customers through the onboarding process, managing multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, actively listen to their needs, and provide tailored solutions.
  • A proactive approach to solving customer challenges, with the ability to anticipate needs and offer creative solutions.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools, customer success platforms, and analytics to track progress and optimize customer success strategies.
  • Knowledge of the tax industry or working with tax professionals is a plus, but not required.
