As an Operations Systems Engineer, you will be the technical lead responsible for managing and optimizing our HubSpot CRM, ensuring that all marketing, sales, and customer success activities are tracked accurately. You’ll design automated workflows, integrate third-party applications, and provide deep insights into lifecycle stages and customer value. By leveraging tools like Zapier, you will ensure seamless connections between platforms such as Stripe, Zoom, and website forms, streamlining data flow and enhancing overall operational efficiency. Your role will be pivotal in driving automation and providing the insights we need to improve marketing, onboarding, and customer engagement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our HubSpot CRM, ensuring all marketing, sales, and customer success activities are tracked and reported accurately, with a focus on data integrity.
- Build and maintain detailed reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) like customer lifecycle stages, outbound prospect activities, and customer acquisition metrics (e.g., 'days until purchase').
- Design and implement automated workflows in HubSpot to streamline marketing and sales efforts, onboarding processes, and customer engagement tasks.
- Use Zapier to integrate third-party tools such as Stripe, Zoom, and website forms with HubSpot, creating seamless workflows that enhance data flow and reduce manual work.
- Track and analyze customer lifecycle stages and engagement, using HubSpot to monitor and generate insights that help improve customer retention and lifetime value.
- Continuously evaluate and improve CRM and operational workflows to ensure they align with business goals and drive overall operational efficiency.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to understand their operational needs and ensure HubSpot is configured to provide actionable insights.
- Ensure data accuracy across all connected tools and within HubSpot, regularly auditing and maintaining the CRM to ensure clean, actionable data for the business.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with HubSpot CRM, including the design of custom workflows, reports, and automation systems.
- Experience with Zapier, and integrating third-party platforms like Stripe, Zoom, and website forms within HubSpot to create seamless, automated workflows.
- Strong ability to generate actionable insights from data, including reporting on KPIs and customer lifecycle stages.
- Knowledge of automation tools, CRM optimization, and customer lifecycle management. Experience working with other tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) to support data analysis is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CRM systems, workflows, and data integrity.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with different teams (sales, marketing, customer success) and understand their operational needs.
- Excellent attention to detail when configuring systems, tracking data, and ensuring accurate reporting across teams.
